First, let me start by wishing everybody all the best for the year 2008....
So what is new for this year? Well.. Animation Mentor finally started last Monday!
I'm pretty excited about it.. My mentor for Class 1 is Jalil Sadool and he's a really cool guy. He used to work at Rhythm & Hues and is now animating at WETA Digital. We had our first Q&A this Thursday and I was nervous as hell speaking in front of the webcam... but I guess I'll get used to it.
Anyway, since I'm going to this Animation Mentor thing I decided it was time for a new look for the blog and my website. From now on I'll be updating regularly again with the stuff I'm doing for AM, so hopefully you guys can give me some good advice and pointers on how to improve my work.
Well that's it for this week.. next week we'll just be doing sketches and a pose, so keep an eye out for that!
